When I First Met You Poem by Sekyewa Godfrey

When I First Met You

The first day my eyes met you,
My heart raced a bit.
I was strongly convinced you're mine.
When you hugged me so tight
I knew it was love at first sight.
Though strangers, one thing was clear;
You and I were meant to be.
Upon my head I swear,
Never had I seen such a woman.
Your beauty was beyond description.
Loving you was the simplest of options.
When you whispered into my ear,
I couldn't wait but make you mine.
