When I Felt Calvary

When I felt Calvary
And the warmth of Jesus love
I knew that soul cleansing power
Yes the power of the blood
On the Cross it was started
Until "it is finished" was the cry
When I felt Calvary
My sins were washed away

My Saviour loved me
I found it out in the Word
How lost that I was
I never before had ever heard
That my Salvation
Was not dependent on what I'd done
But faith was received
When I trusted in the Son

Now joy unspeakable
And full of glory
I can sing God's praises
And tell the story
Before I was lost
And lost hopelessly
But my life was changed
When I felt Calvary

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
