Wonderfully written poem.......I liked it... a day when I'm the monarch of house, no interruption from a boring spouse, no foolish questions of a lovely wife, no noise of a woman and no strife.

Yes.... we all need sometime exclusively for ourselves! That will help us look into ourselves or relax without external interference! You have expressed a basic human need in a lovely manner here!

I spend over 99% of my time alone but I think that for the average person that is too much. The average person does need some time alone, if for no other purpose than to appreciate those whom he loves and misses. Great poem, Akhtar
