When He Said It Is Finished

When He said it is finished...He meant it!
His sacrifice was complete
No more offering for sin was required
For His death assured sin's defeat
Now at the right hand of the Father
His ascension to mansions above
Preparing a place of eternal habitation
For those who have trusted the Lord!

By grace are we saved through faith
Praise God for the victory
Christ has arisen to make us alive
His Spirit giving testimony
Salvation...the gift of the Father
Through the shed blood of Christ the Son
Praise God for our blessed assurance in Him
We're saved by the Crucified One!

It's a Hallelujah happening moment
When faith greets a repentant heart
The joy bells in immediate attendance
Proof of Salvation's kick start
Now my heart is ignited
On fire for the souls of lost men
For faith has established
the proof of God's Word
In Jesus Christ's name...amen! ! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
