Fruits are hung in the branches of tree. The scenery changes suddenly when flowers and fruits show beauty in the garden but any one of them falls down. Sorrow comes in separation of father in a family when he departs. All cry in agony and sadness. He leaves the family behind. A blankness occupies the house in his favourite chair. Missing him becomes painful. Still we pay tribute and offer prayer for his peaceful eternal journey.. May he rest in peace!
Thank you Sri Kulamani Mahakul for your sympathetic reading and kind words.
Nice tribute to dad, Nice dedication. Thank you
Your father has taught you values! Your enormous love and respect to your beloved father is beautifully articulated in this fabulous poem! A great tribute poem in memory of your papa! When you remember him, you should read this magnificent piece of work honoring him! (10)
A man who loved his family and his garden. The imagery of roots is so perfect and a lovely tribute to him. In your grief think of the many happy times your shared with your father. It is a poem that moved me greatly as I lost my wife nearly two years ago after nearly 50 years of a very happy marriage.
Many thanks Tom Billsborough for your kind reading and beautiful words.
Hi Bharathi, Very emotional write...... It is twenty years since I lost my father. But as you write, he is still with us, so I feel... But A blankness occupies the house, whenever we think of him.. And ....... we are new trees Growing from your roots Great experience reading this poem. Profound expression...100
