When Can We Stop Feigning? Comments

Rating: 5.0

When you twitch and twirl in flames of grief
Do you have the mood to douse another's heat?

When there is a chronic wound that never heals

Alas! We are fated to wage a perennial war Between our emotions real and what we put on When can we dispense with this feigning? Is it until we withdraw into Death's lone retreat? ..........impressive poetic expression. A great philosophical poem has been so touchingly presented with some question tags in which one can get answer in reality of life.10

Dealing with realities of life while trying to measure up to high standards of idealism has never been easy. Mostly an outright failure waits upon most of us. It is frustrating and your poem depicts it so beautifully. Another excellent write from your pen we are so privileged to enjoy.

The duplicity, the practice of professing standards, beliefs, etc, contrary to one's real character or actual behaviour has been in practice since long.........Valsa......but the fact is how sincere we are in reacting them positively and reciprocating them accordingly is what matters.......and benevolent hypocrisy is needed in reactions and interactions............anyway a brilliant piece for all to think about...............

When you hear the startling whispers of death Can you preach on the art of joyful living? One of the greatest two lines i have ever read. A nice and beautiful poem,

Rivers felt with snoring snakes..... and again I hear When a thunderbolt strikes your clear sky Can you sing of clouds trailing in the blue?

Very well defined questions and thought provoking one. We're embroiled between the reality and our emotions.

Very genuine questions without positive answers. Death, for sure, is the ultimate solution as left in question form in the last two lines. Thank you for the beautiful poem.

A thought provoking poem from your pen. Beautiful way you have conveyed the message. Very true said in few lines... Alas! We are fated to wage a perennial war Between our emotions real and what we put on...This is truth about life which we have to accept it. Loved it.

We are helplessly caught between the devil and the sea here. Feigning is masking a mind that has learned to be tactful perhaps. Your poem poses many questions though none can answer them in an assertive voice. As for me a cleansing process is to be offing and I would like to feign as little as possible henceforth though I am afraid to live a phase of life altogether ref framed.. A write par excellence and here is my 10 for you Valsa madam..
