When A Morning Is Dry Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

When A Morning Is Dry

Like plateauxe, through generations have we not stuck out
Even like etch plains, our unshakable resolve n' tenacity down the ages, held
The pediplanation by human darkness, instead exposed our underground expanses
Leaving us as inselbergs of human dignity that ever was
They can poison the ecology of human-ness for all they care
But the seemingly isolated tors and dwalas of our faith shall ignite her futureness
In which all families of the earth will gather for a momentous n' joyous celebration, eternally
Only then, shall the geology of human origin be understood by the remnant of creation
With all its untapped mineral wealth of love, peace and perfect health intact
And no any other ology ‘ll be of importance then.
