When A Friend Calls Poem by Jarian Drinkwater

When A Friend Calls

Do you need a friend right now
Maybe its that you do
I cant tell for only you know
For the secrets you keep
But cant bare to show.

Do you need a friend right now
Friends come. Friends go
Are your friends true friends
I bet they dont even know.

Do you need a friend right now
Whats a friend to you
The question on your mind is
Could this friend be true
Yours might not be mine
Mine isnt yours
Bur your friend's your friend
And mine is my friend for sure.

Do you need a friend right now
I know you had a friend
A friend you can trust
One there to listen
That one who never rushed.

Do you need that friend right now
Calling him or her
Waiting for the answer
Whilst your emotions stir
Got to get it off your mind
Just to bare the weight
Tell your friend, my friend
The one you could never hate.
