Splendidly well written and deftly presented. And truth be told when it comes to poems of love and friendship I don't like to pry and question the poet's inspiration behind any said poem. It feels to me pushy and an invasion of privacy. Just leave it stet. Five stars for your heartfelt poem and I wish you well.
Thanks Shaun..it was about a previous relationship. i tried to crystallize my profound feelings into a concise poem. The artist who collobarated with me on this poem, and several others, managed to convey this memorable moment beautifully in her painting I think. As a perhaps interesting aside to this, apparently Wayne Rooney writes poetry. Do you think he could compose one like this for Colleen? ! ! !
