Whatsoever Poem by ER Bron Chiong, RSW

Whatsoever

To lie like the devil
and be dumb like stones
weaklings or parasites
each needed lies of sort
be strong as a man
and free as he is
no lie is even needed
for truth in one's belief
can one ever speak the truth
while sincere man speaks
like crook at times
knowing what lying means

To lie or not to lie
is a question of morality
one's character build up in years
of interacting in this fallen world
whatever the final results
lies in the integrity of one's words
family, friends and experiences
can influence one's perception
ingrain in a person's attitude
shown in life's integrity
in vivid top flying colors
boldly displayed and seen
