What's Wrong With My Baby Poem by Lauren Coles

What's Wrong With My Baby

I wished I could've been in the room when the doctor told you that I would never walk,
That's a parents worst nightmare,
Imagine when your baby is born you can't even hold them,
A million questions start to come to mind,
Is my child going to die? ,
You must have had to find faith to get though the days of doubt,
You must have wanted to go to counseling but you chose not to,
The best way to heal faster is to share what you are experiencing with others who are experiencing the same thing that you are,
You had god on your side,
To this day you are rolling with the punches.
