What's Love? Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

What's Love?

Rating: 5.0

He's my friend,
My lover,
Husband,
And my rude child
All he wants...is love
And belly rubs
He's my therapist
Listening to every word I say
Telling me nothing
But 'You're special to me'
By kissing me on the nose
He's a warrior against loneliness
Bravely fighting the feeling
All for...treats
He's my dog after all
And I don't need anyone else
To tell me what's love?

Ha ha ha, exceptional writing, you have jotted some wild thoughts on love which is very rare to find in similes. The magic of love is how you perceive it.5***

Good one, LeeAnn. Dogs give unconditional love.
