Whatever Happened To Common Sense? Poem by Hebert Logerie

Nonsense is one simple and single word
But nonsense is now running
Many nations. Like a sharp sword
Nonsense is cutting, chopping and fighting
To build walls and borders
That's what the devil orders
Our world is in unbelievable turmoil
A gun is a deadly weapon, not a toy
A real man or woman, not a darn boy
Should govern. It's hard to uncoil
This mess now. Too many stubborn fools
Are following this sorry dude
These days, people are used like tools
They're zombified. They're walking nude
They hear but they don't understand
Their eyes are open but they don't see
This is horrendous. It's hard to comprehend
This phenomenon which's swimming in the sea
Common sense got thrown out of the window
Hooray! Thank God, in the sky, there's a rainbow.
