Some say 'What will be, will be.'
But I do not adhere to that Fatalistic Philosophy;
Its doctrine is to be a helpless ship toss'd at sea,
And that simply is not the life for me.
Then 'What can we do which we've not already done? '
How about admire the Rising Sun?
Or forever from our Fears run -
As if it were like what our lives depended upon.
The Tides of Fate I know we must ride-
That sometimes tempestuous wave which tries to sap us of pride;
But in the Beauty of that internal Divide,
Understand that God will never leave your side.
So I say unto you 'Do what in your heart is true'-
And every day alight your dreams anew,
Set your sights on what is ultimately best for you,
And never allow the world to make you feel blue.
