What Went Wrong? Poem by Mike Ssendikwanawa

What Went Wrong?

Selling Of One's Birthright For Peanuts, Injustice Of The Haves Over The Have Nots, Are Some Some Of The Stray Practices That Probe The Future Generations To Wonder; What Went Wrong?

Before Formal Schools, Home(Family) Was The School, But Today_Children Are More Safe At School Other Than At Home With Their Family Members, What Went Wrong?

It's Today, That One Seeks Safety And Peace In A Foreign Nation Other Than His/ Her Motherland_Due To Several Push Factors In Own Nation, What Went Wrong?

There's No Doubt That We(Humans) Think Of Colonizing Another Planet Other Than Earth, However Let It Not Be For Insecurity That Humanity Seeks A Foreign(Alien) Land, But Rather Due To Love For Adventure.

'What Went Wrong? ' Is A Question You And I Are To Answer To The Next Generation, Justifying What We've Done About The Stray Living Of Humanity Today, But For As Long As The Course Of The Sun Is Still The Same; East To West, We Can Restore Our True Humanity.
