What Way Do You See? Poem by Evan Histed

What Way Do You See?

I need a new path
cause this one's killin’ me.
Something to release,
all my pent up energy.

I'm steppin' on near everything,
cause it's too dark for me to see.
The light ain't shinin' down on me.
My artistic creativity
ain't workin’ out so great,
perhaps this ain't my fate...

So I'll stop
an' take a step back.
It's time for me
to finally
figure out this math,
an' calculate
all that I have done wrong today.
It's time for me to basically,
figure out a brand new way.
