What Then Is Life Poem by Ayamaono Ebenezer

What Then Is Life

I woke up from where I was lying down enjoying my peaceful sleep yesterday.
Then I heard people crying,
I tried to stand up but, I could not
My parent, siblings, friends,
Relative's were crying, sobbing
I called my mom to ask her what is going on,
But no response
I was still lying down where I slept last night
I called my sister that was close to me
They were seriously crying calling my name
I turned to my Best friend Gold
But she stood up and went out
I called my Dad to come and help me
But no one heard my voice
Everyone was busy crying.
My mom came and sat beside me
I tried to touch her
But I can't
I try to turn but I couldn'tmove an inch.
I was just lying the as a death person
What could have happen
Why are they crying
Who is death
Immediately my Dad said she is death.
Tears drop from my eye
Because if couldn't control it again
Tell me what then is life
I ate with them before going to bed
But I woke up in another land

What then is life.
