Yes, I agree completely with you that this is a LOVE POEM with Earth expressing gratitude to Sun. Love as gratitude is a particularly unselfish love, which is appealing because much love is darkened by self-serving motives. In your poem Earth is so happy in her orbit, there is no tension between them, only delight. Now how can this perfect love become part of human love? ?
