I’ve been to this I’ve been to that
Since part of Jesus’ bride
Each church had WELCOME on their mat
But what was found inside?
Too oft I opened wide a door
To coldness and despair
A lack of unity for sure
And need for love and care
Is this what Jesus wants to see?
Is this The Father’s plan?
Did Jesus’ blood not set us free?
From foolish snares of man
The devil’s out to kill and cheat
The sheep that err and stray
But when we sit at Jesus’ feet
We’ll learn to walk His way
In Christ religion has no place
Traditions must be true
Christ came to free the human race
From foolish things we do
Bless God for Christ who’s praise we sing
The Key to Heaven’s door
To Him all burdens each can bring
To bear their pain no more
But still there’s some who live as blind
Some weak and others strong
Yet open eyed their yokes they’d find
Where burdens should belong
We must return to Godly fear
See Christ as living Lord
Serve with love, The Truth down here
Help flee the coming sword
