What Poetry Whispers To Me Poem by Unnikrishnan Sivasankara Menon

What Poetry Whispers To Me

Rating: 5.0

What fragrance of flowers
That flee the grips of breeze,
What the crimson dusk that shake
Free from the talons of night
And what the shards of cloud escaped
The prison of the heart of the sky
Failed to tell each other, is the same that
The tunes that broke my fingers n' sobbed
Whispered in my ears today.

Translations are so very difficult. But if it weren't for them, we would be deprived of such exquisite beauty. Excellent, Poet Menon!

Translations are quite difficult, especially when the original poem also is mine.
