You have a refreshing approach to poems - not that tired old question What does it mean? But What does it do? In the last stage of his creative work that's exactly what Samuel Beckett told critics they should be asking. And the answer can be surprisingly personal and intimate. As you show in the poem. In general I know what your poems do for me - They give me faith in the world, not just the people in it, the world itself, which time and again you show is a thing of wonders. They show me how BIG the human heart can be because they embrace so much with love. And they show me how much of the world, of life can be turned into poetry!
