Your poem was pretty fatalistic overall so it caused me sadness of heart. We all have choices to make in life. I believe that kindness and living a life that brings joy to others is to be sought after. We are here to make this world a better place. Evil does not triumph in the end.t
Quite an observation. It is undeniable, though, that some are far more evil and threatening than others. A fine poem.
Michael, Thank you for the comment. I had these thoughts about meanness for quite some time and was finally able to put it into a poem.
Hmmmmmmm.... I have been thinking... I'm not all that good... but I don't consider myself bad... so I must be the UGLY!
This is the time to acquire goodness and nourish path of humanity. Beauty of life can be motivated with wonderful perception.

Hank, you are right. We probably all have a little meanness in us, and sometimes things happen that just brings it out in everybody! But I think Linda Bella is right: there is some good in most people too.
