What Joy



What joy
Walking with my dogs
In ancient Saxon woods
Seeing them happy with tail wagging
Adventurous and exploring.

Hearing twittering bird song
Trees bathed in sunlight
Squirrels, badgers, scampering deer
Such beauty to inspire.
