Money is stressed in each line strongly The poem could have used variations The same meaning in a different way Of course it clearly expresses ideas Just placement of words in a better way To convey the same meaning finely Otherwise, the poem is indeed superb. mvvenkataraman

I thought this poem was very interesting. Yes it is Stating the obvious...but in many ways that is a good thing simply because it is such a controversial issue. Sometimes the obvious has to be stated to get the point across. Due to the way Our world and Capitalism runs it is very clear to me that many people do not see what really is 'obvious.' If they did then this issue would not exist in the first place. I think this poem is very strong and clear!

Once again Julius, I think you're stating the obvious. Do you have your own emotional or intellectual viewpoint on this topic? Stylistically, and it reads in a very matter-of-fact prose-like way. So I'm not sure why you present it as poetry. My two cents.

The correct quote is not that money is the root of all evil but that.... 'the love of money is the root of all evil....' otherwise an interesting poem. H
