This poem really captures the terror triggers Tom. I love your double use of walls Walls to divide, walls between nations, between people. It makes me reflect on my own life. I wonder Where are my walls? Well you certainly have your own terror to deal with With the local flower community under threat within your walls.
Yes, and my local terrorist is on the March again. He has reacquired my daughter's favourite chair so there could be outright war when she arrives this weekend. and I was the culprit by accidentally leaving a newspaper on the chair. This cat loves lying on papers! Think I'll have to spread a dozen or so on other chairs! Desperate measures for desperate circumstances!

Tom, your voice was strong! Your serious side cannot be beaten. A reasoned look at the causes of some terrorism and we do have to remember the history of a land can embitter a people with its brutality. We can only stop doing wrong in the present, but finding right and wrong in some of these countries would be a tangled maze to try to circumnavigate. Thank you for reminding us that walls must be brought down peacefully and not all walls are bad. Excellent poem, excellent.10
Dividing countries up has often caused the groundwork for terror. Vietnam, Ireland. But the causes are very complicated as you say., as are the rights and wrongs. The consequences can be terrible in terms of famine and disease.
