I have read this wonderful poem quite a few times. This time I would focus on your lines, ‘Piecing together these different roles /et me, into a close knit texture, weave/The fabric of my life Like the interlacing threads/Of a great tapestry! Receiving few drops of love and peace from ocean of love we are definitely enlightened. God has granted us greatest freedom to feel his creation. God has given us great responsibility. This poem is excellently penned with brilliant theme. Reading this again I feel glad.

If women would adhere to the wonderful roles as embodied in stanzas 2,3 and 4, what a beautiful and peaceful community and family we all have. An insightful and inspiring poem. So beautifully written.

An encompassing write on a true woman. An excellent poem that captures the wonderful attributes of a true woman: as a good citizen of the community, a beloved mother and a great spouse.

True beauty lies in ones temperament, attitude and what we call character! If we look at the lean and thin figure of Nelson Mandela, we may not call him handsome! But the virtues, character, the concept that matters! It’s lovely poem! Loved reading it….10

Let me be/As God intended me to be/Neither a wicked elf/Nor a fairy godmother/Never a demon/Nor an angel/But a true woman….You have expressed your honest desire to be a worthy adorable woman! I would skip Maya Angelou’s lines because you don’t desire to be like that! (cont)

Why at night on a tree Is it not to pry? Then likely to be stung by a bee And when you cry People will see Bri And roast you to fry! (Tit for tat! ...... Thanks for the comment, for reading it all over again and sending it to your poem list!)

Thank you Bri! This is the best proposal, I ever received. Marrying a comedian like Bill Engvall or Simon Pegg (though one or two inches smaller than their size) would be fun. We could have laughed away life together! But unfortunately it is too late! !

Though at times touchy and itchy....did you leave the b off the last word on purpose? if you are half as good as you strive to be, ....will you marry me? :)

Valsa your words speak so wonderfully about the wishes of a woman. Not great but humble, lowly not lofty, servant not master, uplifting not condescending. You are apparently all of these and more. Keep writing in uor own and beautiful way. Words written from the heart will never depart. Good.
