What He Found In Shy Wood (For K.) Poem by james watkin

What He Found In Shy Wood (For K.)

Sun-flagrant, a flashed tigress
Gaze-blazing, brazen.
This Beauty-species he shuns.
And to Shy Wood runs.

Doey-eyed, in dappled light;
Which, doe-like, stepped out
Through gentlest coaxing words, with
A sweet, demure noise.
Thence charmed away by its poise!
Womankind's standout!
