What Glistened, And For A World Poem by james watkin

What Glistened, And For A World

What glistened, and for a world
Had more than just gleamed
As to hold, cut and polished
It in gem-likeness.

Specks of it, beryled, jaspered
Shone back, creeked and streamed.
As old maps kept, wonder-tracked
There up to dateness.
