What Flower Is That? Poem by james watkin

What Flower Is That?

Rating: 5.0

Little darling gadabouts
Of our coming into spring
By what's piercing for those shouts
Surprise-ensnared!

Park-bewildered, but not blind
For what of light passes
Through your wisdom's natural kind
Beauteous-flared.

Unschooled, as yet, for what to
Name us? Hang no heads dears!
'Wind's choice', she; for pungent clue.
'Wild charm';I; spared.
