What Did I Do? Poem by Julia Luber

What Did I Do?

Is anybody on PoemHunter writing from prison?I would
like to know. Or maybe, it should remain a mystery. And let
us think perhaps that we are boiling the blood of a killer; to
set our nerves on fire and our passions ablaze. Let us wonder.
Altough I do want to know. But they should know they have
access to some of the most published and honored poets
in the world. They should know they are getting the best out
of poetry from the anonymous and zealous too. They should
tell us if they are writing from prison. Do they get to use
the internet in prison? Are some of us writing from prison?
Is our sense of entrapment and injustice fair? Am I writing
from prison? What did I do so wrong to get there? I wonder.

We are all in the prisons of our minds incarcerated for life. Yet, we sing like birds from within.

That is kind of how I meant it, but then I wondered on a sincere level if some people on PH are writing from prison? ? ? ? ? ? Curious.
