What Ails A Poem?

is poem a child
that comes to life when with mom
else feels lost in wild
and clams up with rest, who come
as visitors, to.its home?

I get that feeling
when I read my own poems
and with them, mingling
more I read, my bond with them
in gaga-land, nothing stems

sadly with others
reactions mostly lukewarm
does poem bother?
do.mismatched waves cause some harm?
answer lies in poet's palms

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Poets are often bothered by the poor response to their poems. Fault lies in two people. One the poet himself. Two, the reader who reads. The readers don't read a poem with an open mind and often have very little patience to get into the nuances of the poem. The poet should see if thereare any rough edges that jar a reader's mind.It takes two to tango but mostly the poets should take enough care and make reading a poem a pleasant experience.
