What Adults Like Poem by Eillio Imbasciati

What Adults Like

For characters in a play,
The concept of recess is rarely spoken of,
As the idea of time out seems like a child's troupe
What adults like are players with more personal depth,
Maybe the sort that speak in an everyday way,
But exist in an extraordinary universe
Those who toil for our amusement,
Yet present something shiny which we may long for
We are all born helpless,
But when we become capable,
We still like to watch, possibly to discover something we relate to
