What A Strong Foundation

What a strong foundation
To keep our soul's at ease
The everlasting Word of God
The Bible if you please
For all those yea's and amen's
Solidify our faith
For we believe every Word written
Of the Lord's..."Thus saith"

And present with His Word... amen!
We have unconditional love
The very Presence of our God
Who watches from above
When sin comes to mess us up
And leave us in turmoil
Our Holy Spirit Comforter
Protects us from its spoil

For instruction from the Word
Directs us in our thought
We are motivated by It's power
To erase what sin had sought
O that blood of Jesus Christ
That cleanses us from sin
It still has forgiveness power
To walk again with Him

And in the Light of His Presence
Our heart's continue in song
May Jesus Christ be praised
It's melody all day long
High and Holy lifted up
Our glorious God most High
We praise You for Your Word O Lord
May Your name be magnified!
