What A Relationship Poem by Gary James Smith

What A Relationship

Rating: 5.0

What A Relationship

What a relationship had Paul and Christ
A relationship like none other
To go from imprisoning followers of the Lord
To become a faithful servanthood brother
He knew the depths of a heart of sin
That knew nothing of Christ's love
Until one day on the road to Damascus
He heard the voice of the Lord

When God speaks...be sure to listen
For your name is on His list
His desire is to see you delivered
From the bondage that sin is
What a mighty Conqueror
May you sing redemption's song
There's not a Friend like the lowly Jesus
You sing.. and we'll join along

His eyes definitely saw God's Glory
The glory of the Lord
And set his feet to following the Saviour
Obedient unto the Word
Used of God to advance the gospel
And to do it so willingly
Now not only for his own sake
But so that we might be free!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
