Welcome In Poem by Diana van den Berg

Welcome In

Rating: 5.0

There are corners of my mind
where you creep in
unannounced
and caress my thoughts
and star my eyes
and paint my lips a wistful smile
and strum my heart strings
into timeless tunes
and tickle my lungs
into sparkling laughter
and bubbling joy
and loosen my shoulders
into light
and whisper words
I long to hear
and I revere
those sacred corners of my mind.

Someone is really welcomed, if she tickles my lungs into sparkling laughter and bubbling joy. Wonderful poem SisD, for me I would personalize it as say it is a love poem. Thanks Sis D for sharing.
