Heart-wrenching cry straight from the poet's soul to the readers' souls. A prayer- a plea- an outraged cry- a weeping. 10+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++==
This poem has a lot of depth. It's not just a cry for the family but for the whole mankind. Universal in its appeal, it is full of empathy. Love it.
Only a sensitive person can feel the pain of others and step into their shoes! In the world, we see a number of inequities! There are people who enjoy all the comforts of life and people who are deprived of everything! Why this abysmal difference.... we are made to wonder! What we can possibly do is to be compassionate to the less privileged and extend our own little help! A poem striking at the roots of human conscience!
A very touching poem on a poet's empathy over the sad inequities of the world. Well done, Sir.
Weeping for certain. So many children growing without love. I myself was one. Yet now priorities are just so wrong and material possessions are put first. The whole world needs to grow some roses and start smelling them before it is too late! Thank you Howard your wisdom shines
Family structure is so important, but these days alot of kids grow up missing a part of that dynamic - or all of it. My heart goes out to them as well, because I know how that feels.
The family as an istitution is in trouble.Howard may God see your tears and bring hope and healing to hurting families. This is a super poem!
