The man wearing the mask
sits right in front of you
his eyes full of darkness
his mouth
full of deceptiveness
a heart clothed
in blackness
his tongue
licks a body to death
what you see
is not what you get
he hides himself
within an illusion
his identity
beyond detection
for almost a lifetime
he will not remove
the mask
he can hide himself
and no one
will really know
who he is
no one
will really know
what he looks like
and everyone will
think the mask is
really him!
