We Will Be Back To Who We Were Again... Poem by Sebastian Melmoth

We Will Be Back To Who We Were Again...

Staying strong, somethings wrong
Solidarity shown in a moment
Historical pin of sadness
Wearing the cap of madness
Stressed stretched adrenaline flows
As people rally the compassion grows
Anxious are the clouds of worry
Anticipations flurry
Feelings rife, frustrations wife
Isolation cuts like a knife
So many things wanted to do
But now alone without a clue
A wicked virus no mercy it strikes
Exercise daily get out your bikes
Reach out for hope
Wash hands, hot water, soap
Be safe, be kind
Human nature's bind
Love one another pull together
Remembrance of life fragile as a feather
Kindred spirits in the same boat
Humanity hoping to stay afloat
Virus air so unfair without a care
Love, Kindness will curb the scare
Emotional key
Sailing on feelings sea
Twighlight Zone parody
Desperate for clarity
All storms pass
This won't last alas
We will be back to who we were again
