We Still Care About Each Other Poem by Lia Padena

We Still Care About Each Other

when you want to talk to someone
about the weights
from the wings
on the eyes
or on the heart
or fear of the feet
and the lack of a clear path
and the thrill comes
and first a decided radius
looking for the point of support
then a waking love that brings the fire
did you know
we still care about each other
how we promised in dreams
but it is not always seen
