I found it very touching, definitely food for thought. Keep putting pen to paper!
I suspect there was plenty of bad stuff in his day, but he chose to focus on the good. I'm not as concerned about insults as I am about untruths. One of the Ten Commandments is to not bear false witness. It doesn't just mean in court, but any lie about someone else is false witness. LLaP
