We Shall Live On Poem by Mystic Qalandar

We Shall Live On

How long will the heart's pulse persist?
As long as ego's sharpened wounds
pierce the soul's deep sanctum.
Even so…
We shall live on,
We shall live on.

The bond of light and music is eternal;
they shall never be parted.
Light upon the heart's calm surface
waxes like the moon—
until the fourteenth night
unveils its flawless face.
Even then…
We shall live on,
We shall live on.

The ego's ruthless weapons
tear the soul's fragile veins,
but the inner voice whispers:
"Fight, survive, endure—
seek refuge in the cool, serene embrace
of the contented self."
Raise a fierce rebellion
on the heart's fertile fields.
Become utterly invincible—
let tyranny become pyre for its own hellfire.
And when the thunder of divine legions
echoes from the heavens,
the shadows of oppression
shall flee, dazed and scattered.
We shall all live on,
We shall all live on.

At dawn, rise on wings of hope;
the holy beauty's reflection—
the mark of divine sustenance—
shall descend into your eyes,
though veiled still
from the sightless gaze.
Even so…
He, with His own hands,
lifts the shrouding veil,
that in His own image,
He might see Himself.
And He…
is never separate from His essence.
We shall live on,
We shall live on.

No boundary binds the stars,
no start or end defines time.
Shatter the earth's cruel tethers,
wake from the dream's deceit.
Where ego's thread
entangles desire—
sever that cord…
behold!
You are free.

Now leave these barren thickets,
enter paradise's verdant gardens,
for the soul's true dwelling
resides only there,
only there.
We shall live on,
We shall live on.
