never.such curbs, says.lovely wife

Covid 19 has changed.lifestyle
cunning virus has lot of.guile

it's attack, indiscriminate
to ask your race, it does not wait

religion can't save from virus
to deter, good health is a plus

social distancing much in need
those who practice, are friends indeed

the world wakes up to this menace
as, thousands have died at great pace

as lakhs,have tested positive
hard work for doctors, to save lives

around the world, one sees lock-down
no mass transport, no flights, most towns

to work from home, is the new trend
schools shut and students back home sent

all have cancelled their travel plans
what else to do, travel modes, sans?

suspects, bound, to get done all tests
those who.evade, face. sure arrest

section 144, to curb crowds
Governments' resolve, none candoubt

good.signs from China and else-where
'lock-down has worked', to hear we care

top scientists work at frantic pace
to find.vaccine in.months not days

sit tight at home, bad days to pass
can't let our lives 'gone for a toss'

world is one in this grim battle
