When was it that you sold your dreams

Beautiful. It put tears in my eyes, Edmund. With such simple and stirring words, you woke up old feelings of how it was to be young and fearless and so vibrantly alive- - - - - - now I am crying- what a beautiful and wicked thing to do to me, your friend. We Once Fought Dragons- - - - -yes, we did and why did we ever stop. Magnificent stirring words in a poem that deserves to stand side by side with the classic poems by classic giant poets.

Zuzan, my appreciation is most heartfelt because of your abilities. I mean this as much as I have meant anything. The poets here are kind and encouraging and we may lose sight of authenticity in an effort to be kindred spirits and yet like anything else worth measuring there are some pleasures that stand apart. That is how I feel about your gift. I mean this in all sincerity my dragon slaying friend.

Who was it that decided your role? Your place on earth, your reason why....a question with million answers. We must search in our heart for the right answer for us. Very well written poem inspiring us to find the answer.

Lets show life what we can do. A philosophical write that ponders on life in a pleasing rhythmical way. You know how to say the most profound things without getting boring. These questions swarm our heads. How much choice we have, how much control we have over our lives, these are eternal questions but no sure answers. But at least we can assert our freedom by being strong in painful times.10

To assert our freedom Nosheen that is the key. Are we victims, mere spectators? This world is bizarre and not common. We make of it what we can or we allow it to mold us with the daily routine and rituals of existence. Complacency and conformity are dragons worth slaying. We must be joyful warriors. Defiant in our refusal to surrender each moment of the day.
