Part 2 When I used to get up by 4 am to study my lessons, she would get up to prepare a cup of black coffee for me and serve it with a spot of ghee. How tasty it was! And all the while, she would be singing hymns in. The one I remember is ”ആദിത്യഭഗവാനേ വണങ്ങുന്നേൻ”. Lovely old times....

Wow! That was wonderful. Reminiscent of our childhood, every old household in Kerala. You made remember my Ammumma (grandmother, my mother’s mother, to be exact) . I had immense fortune to live with her for a few years, though our branch of the family had separated into a neuclear family, by the time I was born. She was so fond of me, I remember. Contd.
