We so often convince ourselves that rules are designed to inconvenience us. As you so wisely suggest, we ought to consider an alternative. There may be times they can save lives. We must learn to tell the difference between different rules. This is a thought provoking, wonderful poem, Kumarmani.

Success lies in obeying the norms laid down, it is for one own good, and for others. A poem advising caution very much needed now.

Rules are for the safety and well being of men! We are supposed to obey road rules and other rules of social behaviour. The rules imposed during this trying time is for our own safety and the safety of all around us. During this lock down we are asked to stay indoors. Violation of this restriction can lead to untold misery! A good poem cautioning people of their obligations!
