We Drag With Us Not A Treasure But A Chain. Poem by Genova Maaa my mother

We Drag With Us Not A Treasure But A Chain.

Rating: 5.0

Divide the world into
‚Mine‘ and ‚not mine‘,
then unreal standards are set up.

Claims and cravings
begin to fret the mind.

We are the slaves of our own poverty.

We drag with us
not a treasure but a chain.
