We Can Just Be Real Poem by Esther Hadassah Sendeza

We Can Just Be Real

When you want to scream at the world.
It's gut wrenching to wear a smile,
When all you want to do is cry.
Its not easy to hide the pain,
When the world expects it of you.

But we don't have to be all that.

We can be true to ourselves,
We can have our moments,
We can breakdown,
We can ask for help,
We can be there for others,

We can just be real.
