We Are What We Can Be Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

We Are What We Can Be

We Are What We Can Be

We are what we can be,
You're mine, l'm yours,
and we shall be,

Fautless as the moon,
Shinning like the stars,

In night time gazed as we can be at nature,
Transferred whatever transferrable,
Thisgifts of life,

Hungers created by lights,
Darkness inherited by the hearts of men,

Woman the infinite light that shines in the shore of darkness,
This heart of a man who can hate inbeing alone,

With us sharing this same dream.
Let us celebrate love.
