A well written poem on the good and the bad.We are born with both in our mind. We will be either of it in our life according as our Karma. Thank you Bharati Nayak
and so we pray, as in what we call " the Lord's prayer" in the christian tradition, deliver us from ourselves and the evil one (my paraphrase) . the whole prayer includes the recognition that for want, people will do what is less than good or outright evil. so we pray that all will have enough. with you, bharati, in your desire for God's reign, for heaven rather than on earth, glen
Virtue and vice! ! ! Together on earth. 🤗✒📚 Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Keep a watch on your life Do not let the devil in you rise Let your heavenly virtues rule your heart Let us build a heaven on this land. The devil and the angel stay within us! It is within our power and decision whom to foster and whom to destroy! Let us try our best to bring out the best in us, so that we will be able to build a heaven on Earth for us and for others! A meaningful poem well composed!
Let us build a heaven on this land. The poem ends with this sentiment and rightly so. Yet, heaven has no meaning without, just as good without evil, light without darkness, and in fact the whole spectrum of dancing duals in this world. We are used to seeing either the head or the tail of a coin, but in reality it is one single coin. I liked the poem
My hearty thanks Sir.Aniruddha Pathak for your valuable opinion.I agree.Light has no meaning without darkness and nature has created both light and darkness. But it is the light's nature to dispell darkness. Our efforts should be to bring more light into our life.
A nice preaching on how vigilant we should be in life....we have the third eye...if we keep it open to all our deeds then life will go smooth...which is good to ourselves and others in the society....like this poem Bharati...thank you
My hearty thanks Madam Indira Renganathan for your valuable opinion.Yes, as you said we should be vigilant about our action and deeds .

THE HIGHEST FORM OF TRIBUTE TO A POET IS TO QUOTE HIS/HER VERSE THANK YOU AS YOU BN DO I am that light that candle which is lit not by matches but by flames of those who ignite reading my in-core delight - - - - - A lovely poem, thanks for sharing BN
Some flowers are filled with nectar where as some are with poison. We prefer nectar, yet poison too do good for us sometimes as medicine. In spite of existence of both we have to handle both properly. We are the best and we are the worst. We must have virtues with us. The last four lines say much about life. A brilliant poem is impressively composed.10
Thank you Sir, Kumarmani Mahakul for your kind appreciation. As you said, we have both the good and bad qualities and we have to handle both properly..
A bitter truth so nicely penned but the question is as all the religions say, there is a final life that will have no ugliness and it will be just beautiful. If He can do it at the Heavens why didn't He do it right now on this earth in the present life. Are we a discarded product of a trial production? Anyway, on such a sensitive topic your poem is.marvelous.
Thank you so much Akhtar Jawadji for kindly coming to read my poem and your thoughtful comment.
