We Are As Earthworms Poem by james watkin

We Are As Earthworms

Rating: 5.0

Box-dropped; what as earthworms
No better fare.
Left only to wonder
'Who put us there? '

Clueless through sense, senseless
A world as makes.
Given to know, somehow
Which form life takes

Beyond its dark confines
Decay, above.
Flits, garden-fair; through
What's sunned for love.
